Step 1 Prime skin all over with a Makeup Face Primer. Also see Primers
Step 2 Concealer- Whether you're using a corrective color or a regular concealer, they are applied in the same way. Dab concealer on those nasty little imperfections using your concealer brush. Blend outward and be gentle. Note: Some people conceal after foundation. But since I use mineral makeup, I conceal first.

Step 3 Foundation- Apply foundation with a slightly damp sponge, a brush if using mineral makeup or the tips of your fingers. Start at the top of your face and work in a downward motion. Blend well along hairline and jaw line.

Step 4 Powder- Dust translucent powder with a powder brush lightly over face to set makeup. Now is also when you would contour or highlight if needed.

Step 5 Apply a good eye makeup primer to create a smooth canvas, diminish lines and sset the stage for all day eye makeup.

Step 7 Eye Line: Line inner and bottom lash line using either a liquid or pencil liner.

Step 8 Lashes: Curl lashes and finish with two or three coats of clump free mascara.

Step 9 Cheeks: Apply blush on the cheek bones in an upward motion until no harsh lines can be seen and color appears transparent/sheer.

- Blending eyeshadow. Swoop brush gently across eye lids after eyeshadow is applied to blend.
- Brush away eyeshadow droppings. Swoop under eyes to remove any excess eyeshadow that might have fallen during application.

- Lining of lash lines with cream or powder eyeshadow as opposed to using a hard eyeliner or liquid liner..
- Defining of eyebrows with eyebrow shadows
Uses:
- Lining of eyes with powder or cream eyeshadow
- Applying liquid eyeliner. Take a small amount of liquid liner from tube and place on back of your hand. Run the thin brush through the liner removing excess. Line eyes with brush.
Uses:
- Separating eye lashes. Use with or without mascara to separate eye lashes after makeup application.
- Brush brows into place. You can also use a small amount of hairspray or chapstick to keep brows on place.
